Rodent’s?

Hmmmm! Why would anyone in their right mind own RATS, Those horrible, smelly BEASTS! WELL I WOULD!

I love my rats they are a great pet to own. I have three right now.
This one is Cherry Blossom, AKA Cherry Bomb, Big Girl, Adventure Rat and all round cute pain in the ass! She is about 2 years old now which is old for a rat! She loves to Sleep in her hammocks and eat of course! She also has a big thing for napkins! She will grab them and run back to her cage to put it in her stuff! Well I got her for x mass from my sister and we love her to pieces!

This one is or was (R.I.P) Cookie Dough! You want to have the sweetest thing alive it would be her. I got her from a lady near my mothers and she let me pick out a rat for cherry to have as company. Well I had to take the runt! She was tiny and her ear had been bitten. She also as time went by had cataracts in both eyes so she was blind. We had her for about a year and a while ago I found her in the bottom of their cage stiff as a board. Cherry hated her at first then she kinda liked having a blanket after awhile!

I was worried about Cherry when Cookie died but she is fine and I think really enjoys having the whole cage to herself.

Next we have the boys!
We will start with Draco Minimus!

Draco here is a sweet rat most of the time! We found him at petco and this is his story! Jess and I had the girl rats with us and went to buy their stuff at petco. The employee that handled the rodents asked if I would take a rat that someone had bought and tried to feed to a snake and it wouldnt eat him so they brought him back. Then someone else adopted him and tried the same thing with the same result. Well I told him I had two girl rats and couldnt.. So jess and I left and came home. We were talking to John about him and he said to me..”You know you have two cages right? Go get him!” So we did and boy did he smell. He was so scared and stinky I gave him a bath right away and put him in his new snake free home! YAY!
Well after awhile we started to think maybe he needed a brother. So off to the pet store where one rat had gottin out of his cage and made some babys for us! So now we pick out Barnabee!

So know we have two boys!and they love eachother. Barnabee loves to jump on Draco and play and Draco loved it for awhile untill Barnabee started to “JUMP” on him if you know what I mean! After Draco put him in his place now everything is good and they wresle and play and argue together! I love them all and even though Draco tries to put my arm in its place, they are still sweet! Of course they are smelly but they get bath once a week.
